Burn Out / Burn Off Ovens

Burn off or Burn Out Ovens are commonly used in the finishing industry to remove paint or powder coatings from metal hardware or equipment used during the process, such as line hooks and racks that transfer products through the application and curing process. These items become coated in the paint and periodically need to be cleaned. Burn off / Burn Out ovens are robust and use a form of incineration called pyrolysis by heating the material in an oxygen-controlled environment to a temperature that will destroy the organic material.

Additional safety controls such as water misters are also strategically placed though out the oven chamber to put out an unwanted flare-ups.

This makes them not only environmentally friendly solutions, but also extremely energy efficient as the heat recovered from the air pollution control system can be recycled back to fuel the oven itself.
