1. Electrical Panel Builder
Epcon Industrial Systems in the Woodlands is seeking experienced Electrical Panel Builders to build Industrial Control Panels for Ovens and Oxidizers.
Desired Skills and experience:
Understand electrical wiring diagrams
Build and wire industrial control panels (large and small) 480v/3 phase & 120v/1 phase
Prior industrial experience of building control panels is a must

2. Welders & Sheet Metal Welders
Epcon Industrial Systems, a manufacturing company near The Woodlands, has open positions for Welders, experienced Fabricators and Sheet Metal Welders.
Fabrication experience and fitting and welding is highly desired.
Welding: MIG and TIG, 1/4" to 18 ga carbonized steel and stainless steel.
Other industrial experience such as forklift, overhead and mobile cranes is helpful.
Ability to read & understand drawings is desirable.

3. Field Service Technician
Field Service Technician must have the following qualifications and experience:
Mechanical and Electrical field service work relating to combustion systems such as Ovens, Oxidizers or Boilers
Knowledge and experience of Burners, Blowers, Instrumentation & Controls
Installation supervision experience of Industrial equipment
Willing to travel within the US and occasionally internationally
Desired Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills. Knowledge of electrical and heating systems, instrumentation, and controls. Experience with gas fired burners & blowers. Able to work in a variety of manufacturing environments.
4. Marketing & Inside Sales
Marketing and Inside Sales Candidate would do outreach (calls and emails) with potential customers, and work closely with the sales and applications engineers, assisting them as needed with proposals or presentations, and marketing items.
Candidate Requirements:
Well organized and disciplined skills for initiating and maintaining electronic database
CRM experience
Website, SEO and PPC knowledge
High proficiency in using computers and social media
Technical writing skill
Excellent command of the English language for communication, writing emails and letters
Good verbal skills, including telephone communication and interpersonal conversations
5. Applications Engineer
Epcon Industrial Systems has a position open for an ambitious, bright, and hardworking Entry Level Application and Design Engineer. Epcon manufactures Air Pollution Control and Heat Processing equipment.
Required Qualifications:
Mechanical / Chemical Engineering Degree
1-2 years' of work experience preferred
SolidWorks experience
Roles and responsibilities:
Must be proficient in SolidWorks
Application Engineering for Thermal Oxidizers, Industrial Ovens and Furnaces
Review RFQ's and do calculations to determine end user equipment needs
Preparing estimates and proposals is an important function of the job
Work with project managers on active Jobs
New hires will be coached, trained and mentored, by Senior Engineers.
6. General Labor
With a large manufacturing facility, general labor, fabrication helpers, and cleaners are always wanted. Epcon is a great place to learn new skills in the field and advance your career as an entry level hire that wants to get into manufacturing. We have learning and apprenticeship programs to help you grow and expand your abilities. Many of our top fabricators and even foreman, started out sweeping the floors!
7. Capital Equipment Sales
Salesperson for the Chemical Processing Industry to promote Epcon's products and services in the Gulf Coast Area. In addition to driving direct sales, the Segment Sales Manager is responsible for gathering and consolidating market insights and working together with the Business Development and Marketing Team to help steer promotional activities to increase sales opportunities and market share in the segment. Position requires significant regional travel.
