Complex Curing Oven and Integrated RTO for the Resin Application on Continuous Fiberglass Web

The Challenge

Epcon was awarded a contract, on a repeat basis, for a company in the web-processing industry, to supply their continuous web processing line. In this application, Fiberglass web is uniformly impregnated with resins and fed into the first zone of a curing Oven, and this process is repeated several times. The resins, when heated, emit high quantities of VOCs.

The Solution

Epcon was awarded a contract, on a repeat basis, for a company in the web-processing industry, to supply their continuous web processing line. The Results

The final system increased operating output by 10%. The integrated Air pollution Control system was also able to use almost zero fuel for operations due the extensive heat recovery methods used.
