The Challenge

Epcon has manufactured equipment for all the major Oil companies, energy service companies and oil tool manufacturers all over the world. This specific application for the Oil & Gas Industry, needed a new system for the automation of an internal pipe coating system.

The Solution

Epcon’s engineers designed a full finishing system that included paint and wash stations, as well as two primer and adhesive curing ovens for the new pipe coating line. 

The Results

Our technology was custom designed around their process to maximize operating efficiencies, while providing uniform temperatures needed for accurate bonding in the curing process. This system also utilized thermal recovery and recycling techniques that saved the operation significantly on fuel cost.
